Dr. Alyssa Cho was raised in Guelph, Ontario, and earned her undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics at University of Guelph. Her decision to pursue a career in dentistry was deeply personal, inspired by her own journey with braces which showed her firsthand how a healthy confident smile can make all the difference.

Dr. Cho earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at Western University, graduating with distinction and receiving several notable awards, including the Ontario Dental Association Award and the Canadian Academy of Periodontology Award. She continued her postdoctoral education at the University of Pittsburgh, where she completed a Master of Science in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Her research focused on cleft and craniofacial development where she received scholarships and the Masters of Excellence Award in recognition of her academic work and publications.

Dr. Cho is passionate about combining evidence-based orthodontic care with individualized treatment planning to achieve both functional and aesthetic outcomes that will create meaningful change for her patients. She believes in transforming smiles to transform lives.

Outside of her clinical practice, Dr. Cho enjoys spending quality time with her family. She also loves music and finds joy in baking for family and friends.
