Frequently Asked Questions
Is it the same Doctor at all the offices?
We have three doctors on our team; in Cambridge Hespeler we have Dr. Jay and Dr. Kassas, at our Cambridge Galt Location we have Dr. Cho, and we have Dr. Phan who works between our Kitchener and Waterloo locations.
How long is the consultation and how much does the appointment cost?
Consultation appointments are free of charge! The appointment will usually take approximately 40 minutes to fully assess the situation and provide possible solutions that fit the needs of the patient.
My insurance is asking me for a “Procedure Code”, where can I find it?
The procedure code is a set of five numbers that can be found on your receipt. If you are having troubles finding this code, don’t hesitate to reach out to us and we will be happy to provide it for you.
Is there interest if you opt for the payment plan?
No, there is no interest applied if you choose to opt for the monthly payment plan.
Do you offer direct billing?
Unfortunately we do not, but are more than happy to have you sign insurance claim forms and we will mail them out on your behalf.
How do your payment plans work?
The total amount of the treatment plan is divided into monthly payments that are extended over your estimated treatment time. Note: Payments are due each month, regardless if there is an appointment scheduled that month or not.
When are auto payments processed?
We provide the option to our patients to have auto payment set up for either the 1st or the 15th of every month.
How can I pay for my treatment?
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, cheques and give our patients the option to pay over the phone. You can either pay in full at the start of treatment or set up monthly auto payments. We do not do direct billing nor do we accept e-transfers.
When will I get my braces off?
All patients are given a projection of roughly how long they will need braces for, however; this projection relies heavily on the compliance of the patient. For example, if a patient is instructed to wear elastics everyday but the patient only wears elastics every two days, this will delay the completion of the treatment process.
